Remote GP Consultations – Free Training Support
You may be aware of the announcement by Matt Hancock, Health and Social Care Secretary, regarding GP consultations being remote by default. The Primary Care Training Hub thought it would be useful to signpost practices to resources provided by E-learning for Health (part of Health Education Education) which include free training covering:

 Quick telephone consultation tips (from eGPlearning) – (five minute read on telephone triage tips and consultations)
 COVID-19: remote consultations (from BMJ) – (visual summary on a page)
 Video consultations top five tips (YouTube, 10 minutes 51 seconds)
 Handbook for remote consultations Edition 2, published June 2020, 75 pages

All these materials can be found here. You may be prompted to log in and register; you can also view the materials without doing so by clicking “continue”.
