Once you have reached the above dialog box, enter a new password into the first and second box. Always ensure the tick box ‘User must change password at next logon’ so that the user can set their own password when they next attempt to access their account.

Password Best Practice

In order to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of an account it is important that strong hard to guess passwords are used. In order to achieve this, it is advised that the following best practice is used:

·        One or more numbers

·        One or more special characters

·        3 unique memorable words

·        A unique password not used on other systems at home or in the workplace
