Software Installation guide for admin access
This
guide is for GP Surgeries that require a new application or existing
application installed or updated.
Each surgery has an application
server named L8xxxx-APP-01 unless it is a shared server such as Devereaux or
St Pauls.
On those Application servers there is an account called L8xxxx.Crescendo or .Lexacom (for example). That account is an administrator of the server, which can be used with 3rd partise to update the server side of the software.
** (Problem – accounts may not have been used so could now be disabled – The CIT Service Desk will need to enable and reset password) **
All the info on these accounts
should be on the surgeries Y drive in a folder called ‘Server Access’ (shown
below).
For the workstations each site has
an admin account called L8xxxx.Admin which the surgeries can use to update the
software once the server side has been completed.
