Colleagues
at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust have updated their
email addresses, following the merger of 2gether and Gloucestershire Care
Services. Now, colleagues will have an email address ending in @ghc.nhs.uk rather than @glos-care.nhs.uk or @nhs.net
The
standard format for emails will be firstname.surname@ghc.nhs.uk Your regular contacts
should be updating you on their change of details.
The
Trust is using Exchange Online, which is part of the Microsoft Office 365 suite
of applications. 0365 adheres to all NHS England and government security
standards and requirements and due to being managed by Microsoft is the latest
and most up to date version available. Microsoft are accredited to the
government required ISOs and there are many other organisations using O365,
including in the NHS. Rules are put in place which ensures that email between
approved organisations is encrypted during transit and there are options to
send encrypted to 3rd Parties as required.
